Toxic slime toys to be discussed – (ANEC e-Newsletter ed. 1 – 2019) January 2019

In a joint letter, ANEC and BEUC alerted the European Commission (EC) to excessive quantities of boron in some slime toys, following tests carried out by 8 national consumer organisations. The results showed European consumers are able to buy slime toys that do not comply with EU legislation and can jeopardise consumers’ health.
